  1. My parents had stayed over in june and throughly enjoyed the comfort and hospitality liz had given to them. They found flowerdews very clean, tidy and most of all welcoming and has booked it again for july. its lovely to know that winchester has little beauties like these that people can stay with ease. Thank You for making them feel at ease in Winchester Liz! 🙂

  2. This was our first stay which was booked after reading the previous recommendations, and the result lived up to our expectations.
We required a stopover on our way to Southampton to start a cruise. We had never visited the area before so it was really very brief and just managed to have a full day in Winchester. The location was superb, as after driving down from Cheshire it was really a great facility where we could leave the car and walk in to Winchester.
The hospitality and accommodation was of the highest class, and the personal attention was so friendly without feeling imposed upon.
If you are visiting the area, and don’t want an impersonal service of a hotel, then Flowerdews cannot be bettered.

  3. We had a very enjoyable stay, Liz was very welcoming, the room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and we were treated to Lizs wonderful home baking. Couldn’t ask for a lovelier place to stay if you are in Winchester. All the best to you both from the NZ travellers.

  4. Lovely bed & breakfast. The room was very comfortable and the home-cooked breakfast started off our day perfectly homemade cake, a hug pot of tea When we arrived. Our host, Liz, made every effort to make our stay enjoyable – we definitely recommend you stop here if you are in Winchester.

  5. Fabulous place. From the comfortable, lovely room to the sumptuous breakfast and hard to resist cake and biscuits.
If/when we come back to Winchester, this is where we would chose to stay.

  6. I spent nearly a week at Flowerdews last September and I enjoyed every single day: lovely rooms, immaculately clean, delicious meals, a friendly and cosy atmosphere, in a few words, it’s like being at home. And the cottage is within walking distance from the citycentre. Definitely not to be missed if you happen to be in Wichester!

  7. Lovely bed & breakfast. The room was very comfortable and the home-cooked breakfast started off our day perfectly. Our host, Liz, made every effort to make our stay enjoyable – we definitely recommend you stop here if you are in Winchester.

  8. Thanks for a great stay. The rooms are beautifully appointed and we were made to feel so welcome – homemade cake, a hug pot of tea and even the offer of a lift in to town! Good luck, I’m sure it will be a huge success

  9. Why would anyone want to stay in a chain hotel when you can have the comfort and personal touch of a botique B&B. We had a very comfortable stay, were treated like family and the delicious breakfast was just what was needed to equip us for a snowy day shopping in Winchester.

  10. Lovely B&B. Room was very comfortable, breakfasts were fabulous and our hosts were genuinely friendly and hospitable. Could ask for nothing more from our stay. Definitely stop here if you are visiting Winchester.
