  1. we stayed in this beautiful and homely bed & breakfast before catching our ship for a cruise Liz made us very welcome her cake and cup of tea when we arrived was very much appreciated and could not fault breakfast or any thing else it was so perfect. we will definitely visit you again

  2. Well worth a visit. Inmaculate and very comfortable room and a real bargain. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked by Liz’s daughter who kindly got up extra early so I could leave to catch my ferry in time.
    Many thanks!

  3. We enjoyed a wonderful stay on 13th sept 2012 for one night pre a criuse from Southampton. Liz looked after us very well, our room was beautiful, we where made very welcome, breakfast was excellant.Would highly reccomend. Winchester was well worth a visit

  4. Even though we only stayed the one night we want to say that staying at Flowerdews was a privilege.
We were made to feel welcome and were catered for us ‘par excellence’.
Liz was a ‘Wiz’ and her fried slice was well,,,,,,,,,,, go and find out !!
We will make sure that when we come to Winchester again, Flowerdews will be our first approach for a night or 2.

  5. What a lovely B & B! Liz was a wonderful host & went out of her way to make us feel very welcome, even though she was suffering from a bad back. The room was really comfortable, impeccably clean & very quiet for sleeping. Liz cooks a great breakfast & we wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this B & B to everyone visiting Winchester.

  6. We (family of four) stayed at Flowerdews last week in the family room. The whole experience couldn’t have been better. Liz was extremely welcoming and their home lived up to the high expectations that we had. The tea and homemade cake on arrival was just what was needed after our journey. The children were instantly made to feel at home and they both loved Liz.

The family room was beautifully decorated and a fabulously comfortable bed made for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was top notch, including a dairy free milk drink for our son with a cow’s milk allergy.

We couldn’t recommend Flowerdews highly enough if you are needing a B&B in Winchester.

  7. Arrived after a terrible journey through London took me 3 hours to do 90 miles but the charming smile, tray of tea and delightful cake in a beautiful room over looking the garden soon made me feel a lot less stressed.Breakfast was perfect full English couldn’t fault anything. As I was down on business I look forward to a return visit to enjoy the sites of Winchester and enjoy the company of Liz and Peter.

  8. A lovely B&B. Very comfortable & clean with a homely feel. Liz & her sister were very friendly & welcoming and served us a great cooked breakfast. We also especially enjoyed the cake and biscuits!

  9. A delightful stay in superb accommodation! Everything about the Flowerdews was perfect, although we only stayed 1 night, we certainly would (and have) recommend it to anyone looking for a 1st class stay in Winchester. We both must say the very best of luck to the Flowerdew team (especially Liz) for your future venture and we are sure you will have no problems in ‘keeping busy’ looking after your thankful guests! 5 stars!!! ps – still full after that fantastic breakfast!!

  10. We love this b&b! The four of us spent 2 nights in a very comfortable, lovely decorated room. Everything you need is available; even more! Like a homemade chocolatecake and a fresh ‘n welcoming pot of tea when we arrived late in the afternoon. The room was clean and well equiped, and it was very quiet as well! Liz made us all a big delicious english breakfast (1 jummie vegetarian on request)!
Hope to come back soon in Winchester, we’ll definitely return to the Flowerdews.
Btw: there are a lot of beautiful flowers in the front garden now!!
